Creating an Enlightenment Bug Report
Bodhi tries to work as closely as possible with the upstream Enlightenment project to report and resolve any issues that are encountered while using the desktop. If you encounter a bug in Enlightenment while using Bodhi you can report this issue directly to the Enlightenment team. To do this start by opening the Enlightenment Phabricator page. Then in the upper right hand corner click the icon that looks like a power button:
This will take you to a login page where you can either create an account from scratch or quickly import your information from an existing account:
After you have logged in you will notice the icons in the upper right hand corner of your screen are now different:
Left click on the “+” symbol and select “Manifest Task”:
This will open a window that looks like this:
Fill in a brief description at the top as well as a longer description at the bottom. Keep in mind that bugs you can reproduce on command are most easy to fix. So please list the steps taken to trigger the issue you are experiencing. It can also be useful to record and upload a video of the issue you are experiencing if possible. You can use software such as OBS to record your Bodhi desktop. Under the CC list add the user jeffhoogland as he can provide additional technical information regarding Bodhi where needed.
Finally hit the Create Task button! Congratulations, you have successfully submitted a bug report.
